PC INTERNET BANKING IS HERE!

September 24, 1997. Presidential launched real time PC Banking over the Internet today. This free service allows Presidential customers to check account balances, transfer money between accounts, and send confidential e-mail directly to Presidential, all in real-time, as well as look at transaction history. The service is secure and completely free. All you need is a personal computer with access to the Internet and either a Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher browser.

Presidential's PC Internet Banking has many advantages over most other banks' PC Banking products. Presidential's PC Banking is Internet-based using a secure server, meaning that customers will not have to use proprietary software or dial into proprietary networks. Plus the balance information that customers receive via the Internet will be real time and customers will be able to make real time transfers between their accounts. The real time capabilities of Presidential's PC Banking will be of immense benefit to both commercial and retail customers in better managing their money.

Before accessing PC Internet Banking for the first time, account holders must set up their account(s) by calling 800-383-6266, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

August 20, 1997. The Presidential Home Equity Line of Credit offers an interest rate of 3.9% for four months and a variable rate of only 3/4% above prime after that. And to make this rate even better the interest paid may be tax deductible. Plus, Presidential will waive all closing costs.*

At only 3.9% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) the minimum monthly payment on a $50,000 balance would be $160.27 for four months. Compared to a credit card with a 17% APR, you'd save over $500 per month-that's over $2,000 in just four months. PRESIDENTIAL OPENS NEWEST BRANCH IN MCLEAN, VIRGINIA

June 30, 1997. Presidential recently opened its fifth Washington area branch in McLean, VA. With an address of 1420 Chain Bridge Road the new branch is conveniently located at the intersection of Elm Street and Old Dominion Drive. The direct branch telephone number is 703-748-2900.

PRESIDENTIAL LAUNCHES EQUIPMENT LEASING PROGRAM

May 1, 1997. Presidential Savings Bank is expanding its business credit activities to accommodate customer needs and further diversify its assets, Presidential will now provide lease products, as well as business loans and lines of credit, to established middle market credits in the Mid-Atlantic region.

In its new Equipment Leasing Program, headed by Mike Altenburger, Presidential will acquire leases from end-users, equipment dealers, leasing companies and qualified brokers. Its focus will be on full payout leases of three to five years, with transactions typically ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. Presidential will fund transactions primarily for its own account, and can therefore be flexible with rewrites, upgrades, and meeting other customer needs. Presidential is a credit lender, requiring complete financial packages with submissions. Presidential also has expertise in financing government lease contracts.
